Vehicle-specific fit
Built for the 2007–2013 Silverado & Sierra Extended Cab
The 2007–2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 Extended Cab (GMT900 generation – the 2007 "new body style" through the 2013 model year) leaves a shallow, stepped pocket under the rear bench that universal sub boxes cannot use. The VS-2X10GM-2007-2013-EXTCABv2 is cut to that exact footprint: a 1.15 Cubic Ft sealed enclosure that holds two 10" subwoofers, fires upward into the cab, and installs under the rear bench seat so you keep your full floor and bed space.
Version 2 refines the original 2007–2013 extended-cab design with an improved fit and an up-firing layout (the first version was down-firing). It is built from 5/8" MDF, lined with poly-fill, finished in black carpet, and pre-wired internally with 12 AWG speaker wire to independent terminal cups that accept up to 8 AWG wire.
It ships empty so you can choose your own subwoofers (VD-10 D4 or VS-10 D4 are the direct matches). If you would rather skip the wiring, the loaded version comes with two subwoofers installed and wired for you.

2007–2013 Chevy Silverado & GMC Sierra Extended Cab sub box FAQ
Yes. The VS-2X10GM-2007-2013-EXTCABv2 is a vehicle-specific fit for the 2007–2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 Extended Cab and installs under the rear bench seat. It is not designed for the Crew Cab or Regular Cab of the same years – Crew Cab trucks use the VS-2X10GM-2007-2013-CREWCAB-V instead.
No. The 2007 Classic carries the previous-generation (1999–2006 body style) cab, which has a different under-seat area. This enclosure fits the 2007 "new body style" GMT900 trucks through 2013.
Any 10" subwoofer that clears a cut-out diameter of 9.30" and a maximum mounting depth of 4.25". From the Skar Audio line, the VD-10 D4 and VS-10 D4 are direct fits. The DDX, EVL, SDR, SVR series are marked not compatible on this enclosure's compatibility chart and will not fit.
It is a sealed, single shared-chamber design with 1.15 Cubic Ft of total airspace. The subwoofers are up-firing, so the cones face up toward the seat bottom for tight, punchy bass that fills the cab.
Version 2 was re-engineered for a more precise fit under the rear seat and switched from a down-firing to an up-firing layout. Materials, poly-fill lining, black carpet finish, and pre-wired terminal cups carry over.
This SKU is sold as an empty enclosure. Each subwoofer opening has its own terminal cup, pre-wired internally with 12 AWG speaker wire; the external push terminals accept up to 8 AWG wire. You supply the subwoofers, amplifier, and amp wiring kit. A loaded version (L-VS-2X10GM-2007-2013-EXTCAB) is available with two subwoofers installed.
54.375" long × 15.125" deep × 8.50" tall (the stepped profile follows the floor under the rear seat).
Match the amplifier to the subwoofers you install, not to the box. Two VD-10 D4 (500 Watts RMS) or VS-10 D4 (500 Watts RMS) subwoofers wired to a 1 Ω load pair well with a 1,000–1,200 watt RMS monoblock that is stable at your final wired impedance, such as the RP-1200.1D. Always confirm the final impedance of your wiring before choosing an amp.
Yes. This enclosure ships free within the United States, and an unused enclosure can be returned within 30 days of delivery under our return policy.
